VW Golf MK5 Retrim Silver Headlining Kit

John from Ireland recently retrimmed the headlining in his VW Golf MK5.

He used one of our Silver Headlining Kits.

The kit includes:

• 2.5 metres of silver stretch suede
• 2 cans of Trim-Fix spray adhesive

One thing John mentioned afterwards was the amount of material supplied.

He wanted to be sure there would be enough suede to complete the job without running short.

After fitting the headlining. He said there was still plenty of material to work with around the edges,. This made the fitting and installation much more comfortable.

Why Material Size Matters

Having enough material to fold over the edges is important. It makes positioning and stretching the suede much easier.

It gives you room to line everything up properly. You can then trim away the excess once the headlining has been fitted.
