Volvo Truck Cabin Retrim Grey Stretch Suede
This project shows a Volvo truck cabin that was retrimmed using Grey Stretch Suede.
It refreshed and complemented the existing interior.
Truck interiors see a lot of daily use. Choosing a durable, easy-to-work-with material makes a big difference over time.
What Was Done

How Much Material Was Used
Kevin, who is from the Netherlands, initially ordered:
- 10 metres of Grey Stretch Suede
After completing the first stage of the retrim, he placed a second order for:
- 6 additional metres
In total, 16 metres were used to complete the cabin retrim.
Larger interiors like truck cabins require more material than standard cars or vans.
Trimming and planning in stages can be helpful.
About the Installation
For this Volvo truck:
- Stretch suede helped when working across larger panels
- The versatility of the suede allowed for seating and panel trimming.
- Using the same colour throughout kept the interior consistent.
Grey worked well with Kevin’s existing interior colours.
