Ford Transit LWB Quad Bike Van Conversion

This was an interesting project sent in by @Ph.

He is converting a Ford Transit LWB into a camper built around his Yamaha Grizzly 700 quad bike. The idea is simple – load up the quad, head out for the day and have somewhere comfortable to stay overnight.

As part of the build, he used 5 metres of our black stretch suede on:

• Front cabin headlining
• Pillars
• Interior trims
• Bunk bed ceiling

Using the same material throughout gives the van a clean, consistent finish. From the cab through to the living area.

The bunk area is a nice touch and shows how automotive suede can be used for more than just headlining’s. The black suede works well on larger panels and helps create a much more finished feel inside the van.
